MY NAME IS: Egle.

I LIVE continuously travelling from Italy to Switzerland and back. For love.

TEMPERAMENT: creative.

FROM WHEN? Ever.

DEVOURING PASSION: handcrafting.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: crocheting, but NOT in the classic way.

I LOVE CREATING:
beautiful and useful things, comfortable to wear and easy to use, crafted with care and long-lasting. Above all, highly multicolored!

MANIAC ABOUT:
testing, and testing, and testing again every single item I put for sale in my Etsy shop. Giving shape to my ideas, I begin with (hand)making things, just to suit my everyday needs. This is the reason why my creations must be put to the proof, undergoing testing both for usability (I really dislike complications) and durability (how horrible are those things which are easy-to-damage!) and successfully meet the challenge. So I make a prototype and personally deal with the testing. If the prototype passes both tests, I begin producing the items related to it and put them into my shop. Absolutely OOAK.

WHY JUST UNIQUE PIECES?
I make my creations with great passion, dedicating a lot of time not only to handcrafting, but also to developing models and searching for best and suitable materials, to guarantee high quality and performance of final products. This slow and thoughtful process of elaboration gives to each one of my handicrafts a precise character of its own which makes it special, very special – that is, unique.

OTHER DEVOURING PASSIONS OF MINE:
little things vintage, knitting, reading books and comics, meeting with friends, walking in the country, the mountains, outdoor life, watching good movies with the love of my life, animals and nature, good cuisine and good wine, artisan beer. And chocolate, of course!

cose belle e utili, comode da indossare e facili da usare, costruite con cura, che durano nel tempo. Soprattutto, coloratissime!

IL MIO PALLINO:
testare nei minimi dettagli tutto ciò che propongo nel mio negozio Etsy. Le mie creazioni nascono con me e per me, per soddisfare piccole (e grandi) esigenze quotidiane. Devono perciò superare due prove importantissime: quella dell’usabilità (non mi piacciono le complicazioni) e quella della durabilità (che orrore, le cose che si rompono in fretta!). Quando voglio realizzare un modello, creo un prototipo e lo testo personalmente. Se il prototipo supera entrambe le prove, inizio a produrre gli articoli, a lui correlati, destinati alla vendita. Rigorosamente in modello unico.

PERCHE’ SOLO MODELLI UNICI?
Creo le mie cose con passione, dedicando molto tempo non solo alla lavorazione, ma anche allo studio dei modelli e alla scelta dei materiali, per garantire un’alta qualità del prodotto finale. Questo lento e meditato processo di elaborazione dona ad ogni singolo oggetto una sua precisa essenza che lo rende speciale, e quindi, unico.

ALTRE MIE PASSIONI DIVORANTI:
piccole cose di vintage, lavorare a maglia, leggere libri e fumetti, uscire con gli amici, passeggiare in campagna, la montagna, la vita all’aria aperta, guardare un bel film insieme all’amore della mia vita, gli animali e la natura, la buona cucina, il buon vino e la birra artigianale. E il cioccolato!
